We are a friendly walking group based on the Essex/Suffolk border. We walk on Sundays and are mainly 'working age' people. We cover distances from 8 up to 15+ miles. There is no charge to come on a walk if you are a member of the Ramblers. If you aren't yet a Ramblers member then you can try up to three walks for free.

A circular walk including part of the old Hadleigh railway line path, and Raydon airfield with its war memorial. Pub stop in Hadleigh.|

From the car park (parking charge applies), we’ll follow paths beside the river Stour before venturing inland to Brantham and Bentley, stopping at the Case is Altered Pub. The return route will follow quite lanes and paths, with glimpses of Alton Water on the way. There are toilets at the start, middle and end of this walk.|

Meet at Newmarket train station, postcode CB8 9BB. A linear walk from Newmarket to Cambridge, returning by train. A varied walk with good views of Newmarket race course, going through pretty villages such as Swaffham Prior with its 2 churches and ending with a beautiful river walk into Cambridge.|
